Short Term Medical plans and Scheduled plans are available at any time of the year. However, ACA medical plans are available after losing qualified coverage, or during the annual open enrollment period (Nov. 1 - Dec. 15) for a Jan. 1st effective date. The extended enrollment period (Dec. 15 - Jan. 15) provides coverage effective Feb. 1st.

Medicare coverage effective dates vary based on your situation. Typically, they are available during a 7-month window of your 65 birthday, or after losing qualified group coverage, or during the annual open enrollment period of Oct. 15 - Dec. 7.

Medigap Supplement, Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans.

Group Insurance Coverage is available at any time of the year. However, plan changes within current group plans may be restricted to the renewal date of the policy. Changing insurance carriers can be done at any time.
